Kick Off Your Gym Routine With LIIT!

Low-Intensity Interval Training is a great way to start off your fitness programme, especially after a long break from the gym.

All ready for your gym routine after completing your dynamic stretching? Get your heartbeat pumping and muscles prepped with some low intensity cardio moves in a Low-Intensity Interval Training (LIIT) workout. Even though LIIT can be an intense workout, it’s suitable for people with different fitness levels as you can do it at your own pace.

Fitness Trainer Reno from the EnergyOne Gym at SAFRA Tampines shares with us that “the LIIT workout is a low impact intensity exercise which can be done safely without involving any high impact movement”, The best part? The workout is effective in improving cardiovascular fitness and overall muscle tone, and also aids in reducing or improving medical conditions such as high blood pressure.
