Featuring a modern-looking porte cochère at its entrance, the upgraded Yishun Club welcomed SAFRA members in March this year, after an extensive enhancement project that lasted one year. It was completed in February before the Covid-19 circuit breaker kicked in.

Mr Zaqy Mohamad, Senior Minister of State for Defence and President of SAFRA, visited SAFRA Yishun following the club’s year-long enhancement programme.

Mr Zaqy Mohamad, Senior Minister of State for Defence and President of SAFRA, visited on 3 Oct to announce the new SAFRA Family Scheme (SFS), initiated by both SAFRA and HomeTeamNS associations. This is to encourage more NSmen and their families to spend quality time together and foster stronger bonds through the wide range of clubhouse facilities and membership privileges at all locations.

Stepping into the new club, members are greeted by a brand new lobby with LED screens. This space features an optimised layout that is designed to accommodate more events and activities. With the more spacious setting, members can look forward to weekly entertainment activities, ranging from esports and weekend live bands to weekly football and movie screenings.

There’s also a new function room named Daffodil, which allows members to book for private events. This modernised hall comes with glass panes and has all the features available to hold functions and events.

Foodies looking for some yummy eats will discover great choices. If you love Chinese food, don’t miss Pin Si Restaurant, where you can enjoy a variety of dim sum and exquisite Cantonese cuisine in a palatial setting. The eatery also has private rooms that are ideal for corporate entertainment and family functions.

If you are craving for Western fare, check out Eatzi Gourmet Bistro for its halal-certified food. Here, you get a wide selection featuring delicious steaks, wholesome pastas and Asian-inspired dishes.

The newly enhanced club offers a wide range of facilities, including food and beverage establishments, for SAFRA members.

Fans of Indian food should not miss the famous Springleaf Prata Place, where you can order popular Indian dishes like prata, thosai, biryani and more. Our recommendation? Definitely try its Ultimate Murtabak or its famous Chicken Floss Prata.

There is a McDonald’s too, with a drive-through option if you just want quick bites to go. After a hearty meal, members can head to Orchid Bowl for a fun night of bowling, or enjoy billiards at Arena Billiards.

If you are a fitness lover, there will be a fresh gym experience you can look forward to as well in the month of December. As a newly enhanced club, SAFRA Yishun is aiming to serve its members and their families, and provide the facilities and entertainment they need, and to forge a place for bonding and creating memories.
