Ultra, one of the world’s largest and most popular music festivals, makes its return to Singapore on 8 and 9 Jun for the fifth consecutive year. The annual event, founded in Miami in 1999, is known for its showcase of the world’s top electronic dance music DJs. Since its inception, the Ultra music festival has seen its popularity explode. Last year alone, it travelled to more than 20 countries, selling over one million tickets.

The music festival also received numerous accolades in the industry, including “The World’s #1 Festival” (Miami) for the third consecutive year by DJ Mag. This year, revellers can look forward to another star-studded international line-up. Headlining the festival in Singapore are industry heavyweights such as Martin Garrix, Porter Robinson and Skrillex.

For the technoimmersive segment titled RESISTANCE, festival-goers can expect to see the likes of house and techno elites Jamie Jones, Art Department, Eats Everything and Josh Wink. Tickets are on sale now for this year’s event, and fans can purchase them exclusively here: ultrasingapore.com/tickets/2019.

What to pack for summer music festivals

Sunscreen

Bring an SPF50. Most music festivals are held outdoors, which means there will be prolonged sun exposure.

Portable Phone Charger

Get your own portable phone charger and skip the kilometrelong queue at charging stations.

Identification Card

Most music festivals have a “no ID, no entry” policy. You’ve been warned.

Clear Bag

This helps to expedite entry into the event, and promotes the safety of crew and festival-goers.
