It’s your beloved little one’s birthday.

You want to make it special, fun, and most importantly, memorable.

So you start planning; you take out a yellow pad and write: ‘what to eat, ‘where to go’, and ‘what to do’. A good fifteen minutes of research later, you’re overwhelmed by choices. Now time is running out.

Well, planning a birthday isn’t as difficult as you make it out to be. Just follow this schedule we’ve drawn and your young one is set for an awesome birthday!

Morning brunch – Burgers!

Don’t start the day too early. Call it a “birthday sleep in”. Once she’s up and ready, head to Omakase Burger for an authentic American style smashed burger experience for brunch.

There, your child will get to savour hand-crafted burger patties made with a special blend of four different cuts of premium USDA-Choice grade beef in popular choices like the Omakase Cheeseburger.

Pair it with Chilli Cheese Fries packed with homemade beef chilli infused with Mexican spices and cheese. For the adults, you can even accompany your burger with a pint of Brewerkz.

SAFRA members get to enjoy 10% off total bill when you dine in at their Orchard Central flagship restaurant. More information here.

To overcome the food coma, take your child to walk it off on an educational nature walk with Young Nautilus.

Their guided walks span Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserves, Changi Intertidal, Pasir Ris Park Intertidal, Coney Island, Punggol Promenade and Pasir Ris Mangrove Walk.

Your little one might just find amazing encounters with nature’s specimens like sharks’ eggs, scorpions, moulted snake skins, to name a few—a different experience from what you usually get at the zoo!

SAFRA members get to enjoy 10% off ala-carte Nature Walk (Adult / Children) tickets. In addition, there is also 10% off in Young Nautilus’s online nature-learning packages, should you prefer to engage in that instead. More information here.

Bring the day to a close with a picturesque view at the Singapore Flyer!

First, head to the Sky View Pavilion for some hot and scrumptious contemporary Cantonese cuisine to recharge. Let your child choose what to eat – from seafood to meat platters, and perhaps reward yourself with a glass of champagne.

After dinner, make a trip to the Singapore Flyer’s Time Capsule exhibition , where you can immerse yourselves in the nation’s past, present, and future through multi-sensory attractions and activities.

Then end the night with the Singapore Sling Experience package, where you wind down with a 30-minute round trip on the Ferris wheel and a Singapore Sling (for the adults), admiring the pretty night view of the city.

We’re certain your little one will have a well-rounded birthday of fun and bonding with you. Have a great time and most of all, remember to enjoy your child!
