Google Rating: 4.8 based on 41 reviews

Saw the bingsu poster at SAFRA after having dinner and decided to pop in for bingsu and didn’t regret it! The ice is so fine and really yummy. The waffles are fluffy too. Price is also quite reasonable. Would come by to try other flavours next time! Able to use CDC vouchers here too! – Tan Zi Tong (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)

I tried the mango bingsu and I would say that it’s really good! The toppings are generous, and I enjoyed this refreshing dessert. For $6.90, this is really worth it. – Vanessa (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)

2. Old Habits Cafe at SAFRA Mount Faber

Google Rating: 4.6 based on 665 reviews

Absolutely enjoyed our family dinner on Sunday night. Recommended by our son who is also a SAFRA member (5% discount). The cafe was fully booked and the staff and kitchen were quite stressed. We waited for quite a while and used it to catch up amongst the 4 of us. The wait staff was friendly and kept us posted on the status of our order. The food and dessert were good. – Mark Yeo (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)

Absolutely a great place for lunch with nostalgic decor – I was busy looking at the decor and ornaments (blast from the past!) Had lunch with my colleague with a pre-reservation, everything was a breeze. The salmon with pasta was delicious and you can tailor your level of spiciness during the e-ordering! Was my first time seeing medium/well done options for salmon. The kimchi fried dumplings were kind of spicy, so those who like it that way can order it! Staff were attentive, prompt, and friendly. Was a very lovely lunch on a workday. – Bel (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)

Mushroom soup is really yummy but the portion is small. Ordered chicken chop with fries and greens. If served with curly or waffle fries will be better. Overall service is great, very attentive staff. Ambience too with loads of vintage stuff to check out. Worth a visit.Ong Hui Eng (⭐⭐⭐⭐)

Adorned with displays of vintage mementos and keepsakes, from tin toys to posters, Old Habits Cafe brings to you the best of the past, selling both flavours and nostalgia.

3. Rasa Istimewa at SAFRA Jurong

Google Rating: 4.4 ⭐based on 320 reviews

Salted egg chicken is a must try. Hot plate bean curd with seafood is delicious, spinach with mushroom is soft and delectable, and the sliced fried fish with sweet and sour sauce is an awesome complement as well. Drinks are refreshing too, and the variety is amazing compared to your typical Chinese restaurant. Being halal, this place is welcoming to all races and religions! A go-to choice for delicious homely zi char if you’re in the Boon Lay heartlands. Worth coming back again, value for money. – Ambrose Cheng (⭐⭐⭐⭐)

First time visiting the restaurant. Quiet and cosy. Service crew were polite and attentive.  There were a wide variety of dishes to select from. We ordered from their CNY menu which was reasonably priced. There was sufficient food to be shared among everybody and the steamed fish and cereal prawns were fresh. Would definitely go back for another visit. – HG Tan  (⭐⭐⭐)

While you’ll find mostly classic zi char offerings at the halal-certified Rasa Istimewa, it manages to meld the best of both Chinese and Malay cuisines to present a mouth-watering fusion version of a home cooked feast. You have to try their Sambal Stingray and Sotong, which features delightfully fresh seafood decked generously with sambal. If you’re feeling especially indulgent, go for the Chilli Crab or Fish Head Curry, which goes especially well with rice. Prices are affordable, making this a great place for families!

4. 7th Heaven KTV and Cafe at SAFRA Tampines

Google Rating: 4.3 based on 368 reviews

7th Heaven KTV and Cafe is one of my favourite meet-up places with my friends. The premises are clean and hygienic, and family friendly. I have seen some happy families with kids coming here for a singing session, as well as groups of teenagers and adults.

Another big mention is the food they serve. Must-tries are their pizza and chicken wings. Today, we had their lychee and smoked duck pizza, and their honey paprika chicken wings. They have ongoing lunch promotions that allow you to choose a soup/salad which come with a drink of your choice too.

Service-wise, it is always served with a smile, and the ladies at the counter never fail to make me and my guests feel at home. I have been visiting this place before the Covid-19 pandemic and am glad to find that things remain the same.

Kudos to the great team at this place and we hope to visit you many more times in the years to come! – Charmaine Ng (⭐⭐⭐⭐)

5. Siam Kitchen at SAFRA Toa Payoh

Google Rating: 4.2 based on 92 reviews

Honestly this place has the best service! I love how cheerful the staff are. The place was so busy due to the peak hour crowd in the evening, but the staff still had a big smile on their faces. It was so heart-warming just like how the soup warmed my soul! Will recommend and definitely will be back! – Wani (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)

Do come over to try their best sellers (steamed seabass, claypot prawn with glass noodle and grilled stingray with sambal sauce #damnshiok) which were recommended by their friendly and welcoming staff Shidah! With a vast variety of food to choose from, you can enjoy individual or Zi Char style of dining! Definitely coming back for more. Ireena Ridzuan (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)

6. Keng Eng Kee Seafood at SAFRA Tampines

Google Rating: 4.2 based on 159 reviews

Dined in on a weekday and they served the dishes pretty quickly! Ordered their specialities and recommended items – coffee pork ribs (this was GOOD, made better by the fact it was served HOT), fragrant tofu (the minced pork lacked some spiciness, tofu was soft with a crispy exterior – 2 thumbs up), and eggs spinach (comfort food). Would totally return again to try the rest of the menu! P.S. – 15% off for SAFRA and HomeTeamNS members! – Eleana Tan (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)

Would highly recommend the moonlight hor fun, coffee pork ribs & deep-fried fish. Those dishes tasted great! – Jeremy Ng (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)
