Which is your favourite artwork?
Joanna: Boschbrand (Forest Fire) by Raden Saleh at the National Gallery Singapore. It has a relevant message in today’s climate change movement and illustrates the challenges faced by animals.
Ivy: The Persistence Of Memory by Salvador Dalí – sometimes referred to as Melting Clocks. The idea of bending and melting time is interesting. Time is one of the very few things humans can’t control.
Which is your favourite museum?
Joanna: Tate Modern in London. The galleries have beautiful rotating exhibits that react to world events that keep the conversations fresh and evocative.
Ivy: Dalí TheatreMuseum in Figueres, Spain. The entire building is a work of art, and you can get a rare peek into the mind and
life of a genius.
