The inaugural SAFRA Go-kart Challenge pitted drivers against the clock in an exciting race.

Yuey Tan, founder of The Karting Arena and a professional driver in the Porsche Carrera Cup, was delighted at the level of participation. “You can see with the way the event has turned out today that it has been faultless and smooth. The emcee has great knowledge about go-karting and how we work. We’re very pumped to have SAFRA here,” he said.

The top three drivers in the respective categories were presented with prizes such as 2D/1N stay packages at D’Resort, 10-hour and 5-hour race simulator training packages, and flower bouquets. For those who have missed this session, good news: The SAFRA Go-kart Challenge will be taking place again over the next two years.

“It was a fun and interesting experience. I’ve always had a passion for racing and signed up straight away. You don’t get many opportunities in Singapore to race.” – Herra Juzar Mustafa
