With the multitude of facilities available at SAFRA’s clubhouses – some open from as early as 6am – you have your choice of an easy start with yoga or a leisurely bike ride, to getting your blood pumping with an intense gym session. Then, reward yourself with a hearty breakfast and you’re ready to take on the day!

The benefits of yoga have been well-documented for centuries; for good reason of course. Practising yoga helps to cultivate mindfulness, improves your concentration, mental clarity and calmness, and allows you to begin your day on the perfect note. 

Yoga Inc at SAFRA Punggol has an array of therapeutic yoga classes that focus on your personal energies (known as Yin and Yang) and how they can be utilised to cultivate inner healing. Explore your ‘hood on a bicycle

Pair the morning’s sunny glow with a pleasant bike ride around Singapore’s more naturalistic terrains. SAFRA Punggol is a great starting point, given its centralised location and scenic surrounds – there’s even a one-stop Bike Stop where you can rent a bike or a pair of rollerblades!

Have a smashing start with tennis, squash and badminton

Sports like tennis, squash and badminton are great ways to build up your personal endurance and strength – and you will only need to bring along a friend for the ride! If you have a team ready to kickstart the day with a heart-pumping game, SAFRA has got you covered with facilities for the likes of basketball, futsal and football. Speaking of which, Lion City Sailors Soccer Academy (which holds its practice sessions at SAFRA Tampines) is always looking to recruit young soccer enthusiasts into their football schools. With a highly driven curriculum that is both ambitious and adept, this academy is the perfect place to pick up the sport!

With a menu that is so beloved, it has cultivated its own cult following, and an ambience which many call a second home, McDonald’s infectious convivial spirit is exactly what one would need to perk up their mornings. Whether it’s fluffy pancakes glazed with maple syrup, or its signature McMuffins, McDonald’s is bound to turn your morning frown upside down!

Enjoy a traditional breakfast at Heavenly Wang

Many would know of Heavenly Wang for its rustic chicken curry, accompanied by a piping hot plate of rice. For breakfast, however, it’s almost mandatory that you opt for its traditional breakfast set that comes with runny soft-boiled eggs, crispy toast slathered in a mix of kaya and butter, and a cup of kopi or teh.
