Why a programme on interesting food places?
Shu Hui: When it comes to food, we are so spoilt for choice in Singapore, yet we often hear people complain that they don’t know what to eat! Hopefully, our recommendations will be useful.
Jia Fa: As a foodie, I am always on the lookout for new food places. Mixing work with pleasure is the best of both worlds for me.
As foodies, what are your must-haves?
Shu Hui: I love hawker food and can never say no to satay bee hoon, Hokkien mee and oyster omelette. They taste even better when I return home after a trip overseas!
Jia Fa: If you look at my Instagram handle, @xiejiafa, it’s all about my latest food haunts. My favourite is the kueh kosui from Folklore. One of my must-orders is the prawn paste chicken wings from Quan Ji at Amoy Food Centre. Tune in to 午餐最正点 on weekdays, 10am-2pm!
