Get a taste of culture and history
Go back to the time of the dinosaurs
The Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum showcases over 2,000 natural history specimens in two permanent galleries. Its star attraction: the collection of three gigantic and near-complete sauropod fossil skeletons in the Dinosaur Zone. Some of the historical specimens on display date back to the Raffles Museum, which was established in 1878. In 2015, the museum salvaged a sperm whale skeleton, dubbed the “Singapore Whale”, for display.

Vintage toys galore
Founded in 2007, the MINT Museum of Toys is the largest vintage toy museum in Asia, with over 50,000 vintage toys and collectables from more than 40 countries and dating from the 1840s to the 1980s. Go on an augmented-reality journey of rediscovery with the Little Prince, or try traditional toys and games like chapteh and five stones. It’s the perfect day out for all ages, particularly as edutainment for the young ones.

Ride your way to fitness
Take the family on a bike ride around Punggol – cycling is a great cardiovascular activity that also improves strength, balance, posture and coordination. A low-impact exercise, it places little stress on joints. It’s the ideal workout if you’re trying to work your quads, glutes, hamstrings and calves, too.
