Canvas Ark Term 4

Canvas Ark Term 4

If you’re looking for a way to nurture your child’s creativity, Canvas Ark at SAFRA offers the perfect opportunity to let their artistic talents shine. Registration for Term 4 is now open, and if you’re a new student, you can get 25% off when enrolling for two terms, plus a free Canvas Ark Tote Bag & Apron as a welcome gift.

This programme is specially designed for children aged 4 and above and offers a hands-on curriculum that’s both fun and educational. Depending on your child’s age and experience, they’ll be placed in one of four groups to ensure they get the right level of guidance.

For younger kids aged 4-6, Art Explorer introduces them to art through sensory play with materials and basic concepts like shapes and colours. If your child is slightly older (7-9 years), Art Seekers dives into the basics of drawing and painting techniques, while Art Adventurer (10-12 years) takes it up a notch, focusing on refining their skills with more advanced lessons. And of course, there’s also Advance Art for those aged 12 and above.

Whether your child is just starting or already passionate about art, Canvas Ark helps build confidence and artistic ability in a supportive environment. It’s a fun way to encourage self-expression while they hone their skills!

The promotion is valid until 30 November 2024. For more information, visit safra.sg/canvasark/regular-programmes-(4-12-years)

Dining

Durian Haus

Durian Haus

In the mood for adventurous food this October? Durian Haus in Chinatown should be on your list. Known for its durian-inspired menu, this eatery has introduced a dish that’s bound to turn heads – durian pasta. Yes, you read that right. Durian lovers can now indulge in the Papa Durian Spaghetti (starting from $14.80), which features chendol paired with durian purée shaped like spaghetti. Opt for the Musang King version, or go all out with the more premium Black Thorn for a stronger, richer durian flavour.

Durian Haus doesn’t stop at pasta. They’ve also got durian-infused drinks, including the Papa Musang King Durian White Coffee Ice ($7.20). Blending the distinct flavours of coffee and durian, it’s a bold combo that might not be for everyone, but for durian fans, it’s surprisingly addictive.
