Workplace communication is often underestimated. More than just conversations, this exchange of information, messages, ideas and feedback also helps boost employee morale, engagement and satisfaction. When you can get your views across to your colleagues effectively, you ensure that everyone is on the same page and understands what is needed from them in order to get the job done. Additionally, effective workplace communication can help improve the working relationships between team members and empower your team to achieve their goals.

Communication in the workplace may be verbal (in-person), visual (body language), over the phone, or written. To be a successful communicator, it is also essential to know how to express your thoughts in these various forms.
