The June holidays may be over, but July is heating up with a mix of fun, adventure, and new experiences that you won’t want to miss.

While we don’t have a public holiday to look forward to this month, you can easily spend weekends at new openings across town – think a new lifestyle cluster taking over the former Nan Chiau High School building, a whole new Pokemon-themed home collection, and newly-opened restaurants where you can eat your heart out. Read on for what’s new in July 2024 in Singapore.

Things To Do

My Family Fiesta

SAFRA My Family Fiesta 2024

For some quality time with the kids this July, check out SAFRA’s My Family Fiesta. This year, the festivities come in three parts: SAFRA Family Carnival at SAFRA Toa Payoh (24 August), SAFRA Sprint Kids at SAFRA Jurong (31 August to 1 September) and SAFRA Diaper Dash at SAFRA Punggol (14 and 15 September).

SAFRA Sprint Kids, with a “Ninja Sports Edition” theme, will be a time-based challenge where participants will have to compete in an obstacle course. Fees for SAFRA members are $25 while non-members can join for $30 for Shinobi Junior and Shinobi Senior categories, held on 31 August. There is also a competitive category  Families for Life Parent and Child, on 1 September. Fees start from $30 and the top 10 winners in the competitive category will receive cash prizes of up to $350, plus medals. Registration opens from mid-July and ends on 25 August.

If you’ve got a baby on your hands, sign them up for this year’s SAFRA Diaper Dash instead, suitable for babies as young as 6 months. Gear up your little ones to this year’s theme of “My First Sports Day”. Cheer them on with their favourite toys and snacks as they crawl or walk on the cushioned race track! The fastest baby in town will receive up to $500 worth of prizes. Registration fee is $55 and opens from end July.

Don’t miss out on the SAFRA Family Carnival, where you can have a sneak peek at the fun and excitement that SAFRA Sprint Kids and SAFRA Diaper Dash will bring. Look forward to free carnival games and snacks for everyone in the family!
