The suite life gets sweeter
SC comes with four new suite categories and 142 suites, an upgrade from QN’s 125 suites. Suite guests are showered with benefits such as special keycard access, a dedicated lift, and an exclusive shopping area, The Boutique, that can only be accessed by suite members who have booked private shopping slots.
What takes the cake would be the Ultimate Family Suite. While cabins are typically only single level, the Ultimate Family Suite has two levels and three bedrooms that can fit up to 11 people – perfect for large families or even multi-generational family vacations!
It’s also non-stop fun in the Ultimate Family Suite, with its in-suite slide that ‘transports’ you from the second to first floor, the keyboard stairs that play music when stepped on (ideal for aspiring Mozarts), a karaoke/movie/gaming room for family bonding and much more.
Fresh foodie indulgences
Classics from QN such as Chops Grille, Jamie’s Italian and Wonderland make a comeback on SC. However, as SC was designed with the Asian market in mind, it offers new dining options that will appeal to your Asian food cravings.

New heights to conquer
For adrenaline junkies, this section is for you! SC caters to thrill seekers with experiences like FlowRider, a surfing simulator, and RipCord by iFLY, which lets you try skydiving at sea.
What promises to be most exciting would be the brand new Sky Pad, which combines inverse bungee with trampolining. The action takes place in a gigantic yellow ball, where passengers in harnesses jump on trampolines while wearing virtual reality headsets that transport them to another time and planet. If you are prone to motion sickness, go for the non-VR option that is just as much fun!
Elevated entertainment
SC brings a new set of productions, adventure science lab experiences and other kids’ club programmes that will ensure your little ones get the full excitement of a cruise vacation.
Taking centre stage on SC is The Silk Road, an original live production created by Royal Caribbean International. The rich and diverse cultures, colours, music and visuals of this famous trade route will come to life as guests are taken on a mystical journey. Not just a sail-cation
From 30 June 2022, SC will be the first cruise operator to offer sailing itineraries from Singapore to regional destinations, and not just cruises-to-nowhere, since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
