This month, ditch the cooking and explore these entertaining dining adventures where delicious food, complete with tempting kids’ menus, meets wholesome activities. From safari camp vibes to Swiss butchery bistro, these kid-friendly restaurants promise a memorable experience for the whole family.
1. The Pasta Project
Why not plan a fun day out for the whole family at SAFRA Punggol? Begin your adventure at Splash @ Kidz Amaze, Singapore’s largest indoor water playground. With towering slides, interactive play structures, and a dedicated toddler zone, your little ones will be splashing and giggling for hours.
When it’s time to refuel, head over to The Pasta Project, a family-friendly restaurant that just opened its doors in February. You can build your own pasta or sando creation, starting at just $7.50! Choose your base, pile on the toppings, and personalise your meal further with a sprinkle of pine nuts, pesto, or parmesan cheese. Can’t decide? Then go for classics such as Grandma’s Project Meatball Pasta – kids love this, and house signatures like the tongue-tingling Old Sichuan Mala Chicken Pasta.

Fuel up your safari with the extensive menu, featuring all-day delights like Gyudon Beef Bowl, Prawn Paste Chicken Burger and the signature Baked Snapper with Sambal Aioli. Craving something heartier? Dinner features barbecue specialities from Grilled Angus Ribeye Steak to XL Squid Skewers. 4. Wheeler’s Estate
Take off to the lush greenery of Seletar Aerospace Park, where Wheeler’s Estate offers a welcome respite from the city’s buzz. The preserved black-and-white colonial building, which sits upon a sprawling 2-acre site, houses a charming restaurant with al fresco seating. Savour an Aussie-style weekend brunch or dinner of pizzas, steaks and juicy burgers. There are dedicated kids’ menus too.
Afterwards, let the kids loose on the green lawn while you sip on craft beers and listen to live music. But the adventure doesn’t stop there, because an aviation-themed playground is right next door. Its colourful propeller structure, air traffic control tower slides and helipad merry-go-round promise to ignite little imaginations. Have fun spotting real airplanes taking off from nearby Seletar Airport too.

5. Little Island Brewing Co @ Gillman Barracks
Housed in a historic warehouse, Little Island Brewing Co’s new Gillman Barracks location boasts Singapore’s first vintage vinyl bar. While audiophiles lose themselves in retro grooves and craft beers, telephones and other old-school memorabilia will surely amuse the kids. Need to burn off some energy? Hop on a mini Vespa (another first in Singapore!), dive into the bouncy castle, or head outdoors to the old-school playground.
Peckish? Regulars swear by the Nasi Kerabu with Rendang Daging and Slow Roasted Pork Belly with the crunchiest crackling. Top it all off with the signature wood-fired Vinyl Charcoal Pizzas, with punny names inspired by famous songs such as “Play That Fungi Muzik” and “Don’t Go Bacon My Heart”. There’s also a Mac & Cheese and Fish & Chips that are just for kids. By the way, the outdoor dining area is pet-friendly, so you can bring the fur-kids too.
