What’s your most memorable National Day celebration?
Jacqui: It has to be the parade when I was 9 years old. I was in tap class and we rolled onto the field to do our number in the stadium! It was live on TV.
Jimmy: When I was serving NS in the Bomb Squad, we were activated during National Day. Though the hours were long, it was joyful knowing that the celebrations were a success and we played a part in it.
What is your favourite National Day song?
Jacqui: We Are Singapore. I love to travel, but wherever I go, I know I will always want to come back to Singapore, my home.
Jimmy: Kit Chan’s Home. We may be anywhere in the world, but Singapore is still home.
