Ginger, Parkroyal On Beach Road
Toss to a better year at the newly-opened Ginger at Parkroyal on Beach Road. The restaurant has launched a Lunar New Year’s and Lunar New Year’s Eve a la carte buffet, as well as lunch and dinner on day one and two of the New Year. Feast on auspicious favourites including Abalone Noodles, Grilled Chicken Bak Kwa with Steamed Flower Bun, Alaskan King Crab Otah, Black Pepper Lobster Fried Rice, Oyster Omelette and Eight Treasures Ice-cream as well as complimentary yusheng, specially created by Executive Chef Vincent Aw. The festive menu is available from 3 to 28 February 2021.
The Lunar New Year buffet starts from $78 for adults and $39 for kids; while the Lunar New Year’s Eve buffet starts from $78 for adults and $39 for children. On 12 and 13 February, it’s slightly pricier from $108 for adults and $54 for children for lunch and dinner.
W Sentosa – Sentosa Cove
Indulge in a luxurious Oriental feast with Sentosa Cove’s Huat A Feast, complete with the customary lohei. Gather the family and head on to the hip resort on Sentosa for a Reunion Dinner ($128++) on 11 February 2021, or fuel up after a long day of visiting over the first and second days of the Lunar New Year from 12 to 13 February 2021.
The specially-crafted feast features elevated renditions of traditional dishes. Start off the meal with a bowl of piping hot Stewed Bamboo Pith, Crabmeat and Fish Maw Superior Thick Broth. Then, savour a selection of barbecued meats including Charcoal Roasted Duck and Honey Shoulder in Spicy Sweet Sauce, Marinated Five Spice Beef Shank, Steamed Scallop with Minced Garlic and Vermicelli. And of course, don’t miss the customary lohei, topped with fresh salmon sashimi and abalone to welcome a prosperous year ahead.
