Mingxin Foundation Rambler’s Ridge

Drawing inspiration from Southeast Asian forest habitats, the Mingxin Foundation Rambler’s Ridge is a new hiking trail that is 40m above sea level. Designed for visitors seeking an adventurous experience, the new barrier-free path is also a living library of trees that will help visitors learn more about forest ecology.

Jointly organised by the National Arts Council, Singapore Tourism Board and Singapore Economic Development Board, the Singapore Art Festival is in its eighth edition this year, with over 100 art events taking place at various venues. Look out for signature events like the IMPART Collectors’ Show, ARTWALK Little India, Art After Dark at Gillman Barracks, and the Light to Night Festival with its new theme: “Invisible Cities”.

With the theme of “Colours in Harmony”, Chingay 2020 is a showcase of how different communities in Singapore can live together harmoniously. Over 5,000 volunteer participants will perform at the parade, here you can expect elaborately decorated floats and beautiful displays of light, lasers and fireworks. This year’s event highlights the efforts of how various communities with different backgrounds managed to come together to live and work in harmony over the last six decades.

Tony Hadley, former lead singer of Spandau Ballet – one of the biggest bands of the 1980s – returns to Singapore for an exciting solo concert with his band. He’ll be crooning some of Spandau Ballet’s biggest hits, including True, Gold, Through The Barricades, Only When You Leave, as well as new songs from his latest album, Talking to the Moon.
